Hey guys, just wanted to chime in here and say thanks to James for keeping this thread going despite the fact that we all have been busy and spending less time on the board. I hope that changes soon with new owners and a working FM26/27…

Anyhow, Congrats to Spain who fully deserved the trophy. Argentina. My goodness. I love the passion of the people and their absolute love of Football. For many Argentines, football is life. However, that performance and attitude was absolutely disgusting. Honestly, as an owner who prides himself on having South American players only, I thought about excluding Argentines from this point on. I won’t for now, but I hope that Argentines can find a way to look in the mirror and find a way to act respectful in defeat. Strange how the world can fall in love with a team because of a special player like Messi, and then at the same time, have the whole world turn against you. So very Argentine. A culture of extremes.

Anyhow, Football won thankfully.

Thanks again James for this thread. Now that it’s over I will go through this and see all that I have missed and I hope you all will too.

You are one of the kindest and selfless human beings I have ever had the chance to meet, and you will be sorely missed here. I am so sorry that life has decided to provide you with these painful challenges that you have been dealing with for several years. I hope that you and your family can find peace soon.

As for your time here on Effliga/Dynasty Liga, I can’t imagine not having you and your observations around to amuse us and provoke us. You are an incredible asset, and an incredible friend. You will be sorely missed by me and everyone else here.
