Does being arrested mean you actually did the crime now? In 2018 and 2019, people were pretty sure Ronaldo did it and were calling for his head and I’m sure if he set foot in the US, the cops would want a word. Callum Hudson-Odoi was arrested for rape and was subsequently cleared as well, no one was clamoring for him to be dropped before he was cleared. What Greenwood allegedly did is disgusting, not only rape but the physical and mental abuse he inflicted on the victim. I hope justice is served.

There are tax evaders, blackmailers, cheaters and all kinds of assholes (not necessarily on the pitch) in football , that doesn’t mean we would condone any of their behaviors. Yes rape is definitely more egregious and as I said I will drop him if he’s convicted (all signs point to yes) just like how I dropped Eremenko for his cocaine use. I didn’t wait for FM to drop him.

Well I would obviously drop him if he’s convicted. He most likely will and that fucking sucks because he’s money in the sim.

I don’t think I need to do the “noble” thing and drop him or not use him until the end of the season especially since it screws my chances at a title.

If most of us are ok to kill innocent lives in a video game like Call of Duty (see the level “No Russian”) then I think starting a player accused (not convicted) of rape doesn’t mean one condones such behaviour.

No one was dropping Ronaldo or Neymar when they were accused of rape…

It’s just a game guys and it’s innocent until proven guilty. Relax.

Well he’s not going to be winning any Role Model of the Year awards anytime soon (won’t find a lot of those in French football 😉) but can’t judge an 18 year old for his whole life for mistakes he’s made. With his upbringing (single mother, grew up in a not so great environment) and understanding that his family depends on him, along with the right mentoring, that can be a good combo to get your shit together.

He’s showing some real potential and a low risk, high reward move. He pulls any shit, he’s getting dropped.
