To Flamengo (Chelsea U21)
Jeremie Frimpong
Lol relax people, Soppy and Frimpong will be going back to their respective parent clubs next year and I’ll be getting my cash back with interest. Just helping out a fellow manager who has a certain fetish for English boys especially with double-barrelled surnames (wait, what?)
See? I’m not so bad.
And trade confirmed.
At least once every window, Luigi gets the roster numbers wrong in his bid. Someone else will get the team name wrong or the player name wrong or not follow the format (like I have until very recently). Everyone (including a newbie, sorry for using that term Chris if it irks you) can get a pass.
Let’s all move on and enjoy the rest of the window
Also, can Zizou confirm that BLAUGRANA’s second bid is invalid since he didn’t mention Barcelona in it? If so, my bid would be 6.5M.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes I thought it was a sign of respect to tell.
I think I’ve done so with multiple GMs and only you and Chris have thought it would be cool to do that.
If Z is fine with it, then so be it.I have also sent DMs to managers trying to get a deal done instead of just countering when my previous bid runs out (Moriba for example). They could’ve done the same thing as me and that’s the risk I have to take.
Again there is no clear rule against it and if this is frowned upon by others then just put it in the rules.
By countering my own bid it made my prior bid inactive in the same step.
See, that’s not how it works.
Let’s say I counter this one, it doesn’t make my U21 active bid inactive. He means that his bidding time has now reset. He has to wait another 24 hours for this bid to go through.

ProPAIN.
I did it with Soppy and even though Zizou didn’t recommend it, he did say there is no rule against it. A manager should be able to protect their bid and maybe you shouldn’t have shown your hand even though it might be the “gentleman” thing to do.
If people have issues with this then this should be clearly written in in the official league rules.
This is bittersweet. I’m glad you didn’t counter my Esteves bid, but this was one of my other targets pretty high up on my list…
Good pick
Yeah we may also adopt the Premier League rules in terms of subs.
Feel free to discuss, in this thread.
With extended benches (9 players instead of 7)?
Relax people lol. I wasn’t even serious about going after Blau’s targets. Move along and discuss this somewhere else please.
Everyone’s on your list anyway.
Someone’s still salty about a counterbid from the past? 😏
In all honesty I have a set list of players I target every window and will try to do everything I can to get them (either through countering someone else, offering a trade or even countering myself 😉). It doesn’t matter who bid, I’ll counter if I want the player. Some will say it’s not the gentleman thing to do or whatever, but building the team I want and trying to win with that team is all the fun. I don’t want to with a backup plan unless I have to.
So it’s nothing personal against anyone. But yeah, I certainly don’t mind countering some managers more than others (not naming any names)
If Blau countered me, I knew Dani would be on his radar, so I’d make sure it wouldn’t be easy for him to get his targets 😈
I didn’t notice he was picked up and still in the league let alone being dropped recently. Nevermind then lol
Waiting on Blaugrana to counterbid 20 mil…
Nah he doesn’t want to be on my “list” 😠
He’s back! Didn’t think we’d see him in the league again. Was one of my players once upon a time.
Wow, I just realised I had Dimarco on my first ever list of players to watch when I joined Liga!
Chelsea and its affiliates release the following players:
Chelsea
Andrea Conti
Athletic Club Bilbao
Jesus Vallejo
Maximilian Mittelstadt
Jean-Philippe Gbamin
Riccardo Orsolini
Lucas AlarioFlamengo
Mason Greenwood *sigh*
