Losing the title on a best vs. worst matchup on the final day is a tough way to lose. But if I know X, he’ll be ever gracious even in defeat.
Congratulations go out to evilo & Paris Saint-Germain on their first Premiership title!
PSG overcame away-team odds, the only team to do in the league’s final round, in order to secure their first league title, overtaking Fenerbahce on the last day of the season, holding off Arsenal’s late-season run.
PSG entered the season as a team long defined by promise rather than silverware. For years, they had hovered near the top of the table, showing flashes of brilliance undermined by inconsistency, narrow defeats, and the weight of expectation. This campaign, however, marked a turning point.
Under the guidance of a manager evilo, PSG reshaped their identity. No longer reliant solely on individual flair, the squad embraced balance and discipline. A rock-solid defense emerged as the foundation of their success. In midfield, a tireless engine room dictated tempo and controlled matches, while the attack combined creativity and precision, producing a wave of decisive goals in crucial fixtures.
The season was defined by resilience. PSG overcame early and midseason setbacks. They delivered statement victories and edged out fellow title contenders in tense, high-stakes clashes. Yet it was the collective spirit that truly defined their triumph, evidenced by their only leading the table two of the first 25 rounds of fixtures.
When the final whistle of the season confirmed PSG as league champions for the first time in their history, it was more than a title—it was the culmination of belief, perseverance, and transformation. From perennial hopefuls to undisputed champions, PSG’s journey became a testament to what a united team can achieve when ambition meets determination.

Another one!
I have a lot of memories about True Detective. I remember the trailer before season one came out. I remember traveling with my father to Portland. OR and watching the episode that premiered that week while we were on vacation. I’ve see the show a few times now as well and as it’s been at least 12 months since I’ve last seen it I’m do for another viewing.
For this one is one of those “cheats” to some degree as it’s a song that I asssume was already out and the show just used it. And when I think about it lyrically, it doesn’t seem to fit as it sounds like it’s setting is out West somewhere. Still for me it works. And as I noted with other themes I mentioned, this is another one where the video adds to it (at least for me if you’ve seen the show).
Great track! Great television sequence.
We will be calling up all 2002s, as expected, but will also have to call up 2003s due to the reasons listed above. There is established precedent from the version of FM (FM20?) that wasn’t released due to Covid where we also called up two years of U21s over one off-season. As far as payouts, that time, IIRC, we totaled the second-year players (2003s in this case) for every U21 team, established the average and gave out 500k for whatever that was. So, for example, if the league average was 6 2003 players at U21, then we’d all get an additional $3 million. We didn’t get an additional bump for any U21 players over 155 CA. If history’s any indication, I don’t imagine that threshold affecting more than 2-3 players at most, so I don’t think it makes sense to add that to the pot. But we’ll definitely be making a lot more call-ups as a result of FM25 being skipped, which means your transfer lists will present a good opportunity to generate additional profit and every GM will have the opportunity to refill their talent base of U21 prospects as there’s A LOT of them available.
Congratulations go out to JR & Salford City on their first Championship title!
For the second time in the history of Dynasty Liga’s Championship League, a team went from worst to first in consecutive seasons, culminating in an astonishing run which went to the final week of the season, holding off Anderlecht’s challenge and holding out until the very end in impressive fashion.
Salford’s first title win was an upset by all accounts, as not many saw them as a serious contender heading into the season, with Leeds United, Anderlecht and FC St. Pauli offering the most serious challenge to league holders Girona, this season’s Dynasty Cup finalists. But SCFC successfully accomplished the feat only seen previously by Roberdino’s Grasshopper to cap one of the most memorable finishes in Championship lore.

Sexy Salford babes not found. Enjoy.

Congratulations go out to evilo & Palmeiras on their first U21 Championship!
The city of São Paulo were witness to Palmeiras’ first U21 title in Dynasty Liga as their side lifted the U21 trophy, knocking the powerhouse Flamengo off their perch. Despite going down to the wire against the second-place LAFC, Palmeiras came back in the final match to see off the threat and seal the championship in dramatic fashion.
It was a campaign defined by consistency, tactical discipline, and standout performances across the squad, with evilo’s leadership proving decisive when the pressure was highest. This historic triumph marks a new chapter for Palmeiras’ youth setup and regardless of who stays or graduates to the Senior sides next season, one thing is clear: a new force has arrived in the U21 ranks.

Gg X, thanks Z.Palmeiras hosts the final game. LAFC have to win to overtake Palmeiras and are 0-2 in their last 2 away games.
Last time, the hybrid season took four months so you have an idea of the timeframe.
It’s a little more difficult trying to predict what SI is going to do. If we go by what they’ve done in the past, the game comes out in Sep/Oct. The second patch is released a month and a half later. The third patch, which we almost always use, comes out in Feb. That’s usually announced as the last patch that includes any player rating updates for that version of FM.
I remember once or twice before, we decided to use the the second patch knowing fully well that the third patch was going to come out (with updates) and force some of us into making call-ups/demotions mid-season and somehow we managed.
You lot are no fun. 😒
If you want to do another hybrid season ala the pandemic (ironic since I remember how the majority were glad when it was over and we could return to our usual format), one important thing to note is that there is only going to be one free agency window before Season 24. And it’ll take place before the start of Season 24.
In other words, only players currently on teams would be eligible for 23.5.
And that’s not to say that I think a hybrid season is a bad idea. I just don’t mind a little chaos.
RIP Ozzy.
I worked on the team for this doc for several months and then when it was re-opened after Ozzy’s diagnosis, I helped in the edit, and we got it done with literally no time to spare and no money left in the budget. But we got it done and it’s been at a few doc festivals, doing well. Recently, it premiered in the UK. But it’s available for streaming being that it’s been out for a few years now in the US.
So proud of our work and so thankful of the man. I kinda got my career started working on Osbourne projects and had I not been able to land the work I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of these last 10 years, I wouldn’t have been able to afford this place. So, on behalf of the league, thank you Ozzy!! And on behalf of myself, thank you!
Not sure if it’ll work in CAN/EU. You can use a vpn if you want to watch/download.
When the Dynasty season is so long, a player retires and unretires during the same season.
In the running in all three leagues and drawing JR in the same round in all three close to the end. Not ideal.
