Los Kjarkas is a Bolivian band from Capinota, Cochabamba. It is one of the most popular Andean folk music bands in the country’s history. In Turkey, during an amateur league match in Istanbul, a goalkeeper accidentally hit a seagull with the ball. A player from one of the teams managed to perform CPR on the bird and saved its life. The seagull regained consciousness after CPR, was given water, and handed to veterinarians. Its wings are injured, so it can’t fly yet, but it’s alive and recovering. The team celebrated the save despite losing the match.
