I suggest next time nobody should give the votes until it’s closed.
Also maybe instead of guessing what the 12 voters want or don’t we can have everyone write down here what they think?
Fingers crossed anyway…
Welcome to Ramer and Zooka !
Evilo, I agree with James. Smart GMing would have been you following your gut and taking the risk on Camavinga
But I had multiple roster holes to fill.
So the whole point is that rich get richer?
the point is to be fiscally responsible with your club. personally, that has been the furthest thing from my mind. I had money, I spent it. but there have been GMs who were financially very smart like mark.
you’re gonna get your share of good prospects. it seems every time I find a good prospect and look at the complete rosters post, you already have the player. it took me 21 seasons to win the big one. hopefully you don’t have to wait that long.
I’m responsible financially. Have been from the get go. But I couldn’t compete with Mark then because I was a little GM with few bucks and awful teams, while Mark had great teams and lots of money.
Well let me tell you that him adding Camavinga then was a bad thing for the league. I see we have two new GMs added. If one inherits a very poor team, I’d wish him to snatch the unknown prospects that he can sell a fortune two years later than those prospects going to me or even richer teams. So the whole point is that rich get richer?
Xavi :
A few years back I picked up someone late in the window but cause I had some needs for my U21 team.
I was hesitant to pick Camavinga because he was unknown and 16.
I didn’t. The following window he had exploded to stardom and Mark sent 14M for him, money I didn’t have.
Did it force me to make a decision (bad)? Yes.
Did the player go to the guy who didn’t Follow him before he was a big name? Yes.
Sorry but that’s not better GMing to me.And again I don’t have a problem with people against it. But 4 blocking 8 seems harsh is all I’m saying.
And yes I would have loved a complete expansion of roster by say 10 players but I will adapt to what you propose since it’s a step in the right direction.
But 8 GMs who work on scouting shouldn’t be penalized by 4 who don’t and don’t want others to gain a step over them.
Competitiveness also is dependant on such rules.
And I say that as someone who has never won anything and probably won’t in the near future.Actually you said 9/12 so 8 people could want it and 4 could block it.
If would find it unfair if that is the case. And as I said previously unfair to people working their scouting.
Majority is one thing 9/12 seems way too high IMO.-

Oh duh forgot about GK. Thanks PP.
Zizou I have a question.
Why should a minority decide for the majority?
Why do you leave the possibility that 5 GMs could decide one thing in opposition with 7 others?
Why not simply the majority?“Additionally, U21 teams would increase from 30 outfielders to 32. In all, U21 roster sizes would max at 35 total players and an Academy of 3, bringing the total to 38, from 33.”
Sorry I’m confused here.
We’re seeing an increase in U21 from 30 to 32. And we’re adding the 3 Academy players. OK.
But how does that add up to 38? Or maybe I missed something.Damn Bob!
Sorry to see you go too….
I wish you the best and hope to see you soon along with Luigi.Btw Z, I’ll once again ask to consider expanding U21 rosters. I know a few GMs agree and I’m sure some don’t, which is fine.
But I feel like :
1/ it rewards GM who follow leagues everywhere instead of EPL only.
2/ it can be a great way to take a poor team and make it progress because you’re taking small bids on young players without much hype. The current system penalises GMs who are good at detecting young talents.
That’s how I see it, and others can fully see it the other way around.Unfortunately I will have to step out.
I must admit I haven’t been a good owner the past 2 years. I have prepared my list for free agency but my life with 3 young kids + very demanding job + coaching is not allowing me put the necessary effort to enjoy this great league. It saddens me because there are so many kids I picked up which I’m excited to see how they grow for me.
I may come back in a few years. It’s been a blast for me since I joined. Thanks for everyone making this league what it is. The quality of owners have increased year after year.
Good luck everyone. Maybe now Evilo might be able to get Cherki
Damn so sorry to see you leave Luigi!
Yes I might get Cherki one day. I might forget you’re gone and ask every 3 months like I have done for 2 years 😀Congrats on the back 2 back!
