July 23, 2025 at 3:20 am #20397RIP Ozzy.
I worked on the team for this doc for several months and then when it was re-opened after Ozzy’s diagnosis, I helped in the edit, and we got it done with literally no time to spare and no money left in the budget. But we got it done and it’s been at a few doc festivals, doing well. Recently, it premiered in the UK. But it’s available for streaming being that it’s been out for a few years now in the US.
So proud of our work and so thankful of the man. I kinda got my career started working on Osbourne projects and had I not been able to land the work I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of these last 10 years, I wouldn’t have been able to afford this place. So, on behalf of the league, thank you Ozzy!! And on behalf of myself, thank you!
Not sure if it’ll work in CAN/EU. You can use a vpn if you want to watch/download.
July 25, 2025 at 1:27 am #20412I hope you didn’t work with Chuck Mangione or Connie Francis. People will start to talk.

HBO has that new movie Sinners and I watched it a few weeks back. Nothing great if you ask me, but one song I was happy to hear and I instantly remembered the other film I saw it in.

Always liked them even though their heads were too far up their arses, especially when you considering their influences if you call it that. Anyway, plenty of great tracks over the years even if England celebrate them more than other bands they should be celebrating as much if not more.

Beyond ‘My Sharona’ and ‘Good Girls Don’t’, I don’t remember any of their songs. Capital Records branded them as the next Beatles. Their second album was described as sexist and misogynistic. And they pretty much went down hill from there. Knuke the Knack t-shirts and bumper stickers soon followed. So I skipped through their albums and found a couple tracks i liked.

August 24, 2025 at 3:35 am #20566Well tonight was that time of year, the time I watch Once Upon a Time in Hollywood again. Folks who know would argue that it’s my favorite film even though it’s not. That said I love it. Saw it four times in the theater and have watched it at least once a year ever since. If you know the dates from the film you might argue today was about two weeks too late, but I have to have the right amount of time without distractions. This song was in the trailer. It’s one of those instances where the film is just as good as the trailer, and the trailer is fantastic.
In High School I had Neil Diamond’s greatest hits on a double CD. Not sure why I ever got rid of it as it had quite a few tracks I liked. This sadly was not one of them. In fact, I never got into this track until the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood trailer. Now I love it. So here is the track and the trailer:
